The assault caused the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
